WEIS is a virtual technology company. It exists in the MetaVerse based on Linden Labs “Second Life” and in OpenSimulator. Here we document the projects WEIS is involved with.
WEIS Cybernetics Headquarters, Silla, Second Life.
AvaDroid V1: This was developed with Node-Red with a large flow base using many custom function nodes. It was not suitable for distribution as configuration was a nightmare (many individual node settings). It interfaces to Corrade and Ollama It is functional but is being superseded by V2.
AvaDroid V2: Written in C#, a functional port from Node-Red, still using Corrade and Ollama. It is designed to run in a docker container with Corrade in a docker container. This solves a lot of compatibility issues and is multiplatform. Full AvaDroid V2 documentation starts HERE.
AvaDroid V3: In Development. This is more a research and development project. Replace Corrade with direct access via libremetaverse which will make AvaDroid self contained, and lighter, with exception of using Ollama as the LLM engine.
Hosting
AvaDroids. WEIS can host AvaDroids for you. You supply the account (Alt) and all the clothing body, head etc. It remains your Alt, but we will need the login details obviously. We will set it up, give you access to the GUI and advice. From as little as $1 US a week via Paypal, or L$300 a week in world. This would be $4.30 US or L$1300 per calendar month.
OSGrid Simulators. WEIS also hosts simulators in OSGrid. Our servers are located in Perth Western Australia. We provide a std simulator to Australian residents, only asking for a regular donation (to pay the electricity bill), if you can. We can host full grids, talk to us.
